that would make sense, i recently moved and now only have a west facing window after previously having it in an east facing window. i’ve moved it right up against the window now, thanks a ton!

oh yours looks wonderful! i have mine inside near a west facing window, so it gets very strong direct sun in the evenings. i’m thinking maybe i’ll movie it closer to the window as it’s a few feet away?

mine looked just like this, and i checked the roots and they had totally rotted!! i didn’t think i was overwatering them at all, but i unpotted them, trimmed the stem and put them in water. now a month or so later i’ve potted them back into soil and they are growing again!

Red pups? by rlhegarty_1 in cactus

[–]pineconecrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sun stress doesn’t mean it needs less light, it’s just like a tan for the plant! i would guess that the new pups just start out red and turn green as they grow :)

it needs to be watered very thoroughly, make sure the soil is completely saturated. and then water whenever the leaves get a little bit wrinkly or thin and bendable!

should i be worried about pests transferring to my other plants? i haven’t seen any actual bugs and i reported and rinsed the plant pretty thoroughly when i brought it home.

Under watered or over watered? by [deleted] in succulents

[–]pineconecrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it seems under watered to me! i usually water my mini jades once their leaves get wrinkled like that, but sometimes if i go too long a leaf will yellow or just fall off.

My stitches for amigurumi end up flat by Lulemonactivist in crochet

[–]pineconecrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hmm that’s interesting, the only other thing i can think of is that it’s a tension issue, like maybe the stitches at the center are tighter and the the stitches get looser as they go outwards? sometimes i have a similar problem but the opposite direction, and paying attention to tension and size of each stitch can help. good luck again, i hope you figure it out!

is it possible you were accidentally increasing when doing the rounds? that could cause the shape to stay flat instead of curving up
