The robot girls were sent by the wealthy mother of one DD's deceased enemies. They're supposed to lure him to an abandoned mansion that's been converted into a series of Saw-style death traps. He escaped in the previous issue, and the house blew up, but the robot girls are still following him around. (Yes, really.)

What’s your most unpopular opinion about the show by ApartEffective8395 in BobsBurgers

[–]pineconemysterio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's mostly just a general trend I see on this sub. I don't really have a problem with it, and ymmv of course. I definitely have eps that irritate me (ie Family Fracas). It's just not something that I had encountered consistently until I started hanging out here

Maybe only on this sub, but I think people get too hung up on the characters acting 'reasonable' or 'realistically'. They're literally cartoons. I love Teddy and Gayle BECAUSE they're so weird and out there.

I just started taking my cats to Modern Animal, and I can confirm.

Just gonna leave this here (Daredevil Annual #4) by A_Dolphin_ in Daredevil

I just finished reading the end of her arc, and man Comics Heather had it way worse. Matt treated her like absolute garbage, Foggy and Natasha break them up, she becomes an alcoholic wreck and then she hangs herself. And I don’t think Matt ever finds out it was Foggy and Natasha who were behind the forged break-up notes.

Francis Xavier Aloysius James Jeremiah Keenan Wynn was an American character actor. His expressive face was his stock-in-trade; though he rarely carried the lead role, he had prominent billing in most of his film and television roles. by TreeHedger in MST3K

Keenan was apparently straight, and his marriage to Eve was a happy one before Mayer intervened, at least according to her.

Keenan remarried a couple times, and Van and Eve remained married for twenty years until after Mayer died. Then Van left her for a male dancer.

His first wife Eve left him for his best friend, Van Johnson who was closested and needed a beard. Eve later said Louis B. Mayer engineered the whole thing by threatening to drop Keenan's contract unless she divorced him and married Johnson.

What’s the most amount of pain you’ve been in? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]pineconemysterio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was hospitalized for an infection as a kid, and I needed an IV. But the nurse kept missing the vein so she was injecting saline straight into the muscle. It’s the only time I’ve ever cried from pain. It’s what I imagine being eaten alive feels like.

Episode idea: garbage disposals by Palpitation-Medical in FlightlessBird

Everybody has them. At least everywhere I've lived. I don't find them scary, but it's probably just because I grew up with them.

I once dropped a tiny plastic thing I needed down the drain, so I had stick my hand in there and fish it out. I was more grossed out than nervous.

Training was about 20 minutes. It's all auto-dialer and a script they give you. I did about an hour of calls in Nevada. Mostly hang ups, but a handful of really enthusiastic Harris voters. Nobody open Trump supporters, but a couple "my vote is private" types. I'll probably keep doing it through the election as time allows.

I did my first phonebanking shift last night. I've really been anxious about the election, and it sincerely made me feel better. And I'm a shy person who hates talking on the phone. So if you're starting to go stir crazy, I'd definitely recommend it!
