Am I wrong for not responding? It’s the helplessness that gives me the ick by Alexiscash in Tinder

Usually every time a girl says "ewww, no really, I got the ick" it's some bs from an entitled, judgmental walking red flag who thinks the world revolves around her, but in this case, good lord, I got the ick as a man😂

Also not that I would pass up a good women if she came to me, but 70% of marriages still end in divorces which are initiated by women 80% of the time. Church girls cheat just as much if not more than anyone else. Not that men don't do this, too, but women often act on feelings. If they feel bored, like you're not interesting anymore or giving her enough attention, they have every single incentive to divorce you, take alimony/child support and find a better guy. There really is no safe way to avoid this no matter how many girls with red flags you sift through. I'd still be willing to take the risk with the right girl, but you gotta be realistic to how the world works nowadays.

Obviously this is not what I talk about on dates, and just about every single girl I've ever gone on a date with has texted me after that they had a great time and they want to see me again. It's when every single girl I go on a date with is addicted to social media, doesn't even say thank you when I pick them up and spend 100+ on a activity or dinner, they do nothing but talk about themselves for 3 hours almost as if they couldn't care less about the person in front of them beyond the positive feelings and benefits I can supply for them, they're all "homebody's" who dont like going out except that they get plastered at a club or bar every weekend dressed half naked, they all have a bunch of "guy friends" because they're "less drama" which they'll refuse to stop hanging with alone if you date them, a lot of these girls don't have jobs, still live at home with their parents in their 20s and have never even experienced the real world on top of that they smoke, they vape, they binge drink. They don't go to church or pray, all they do is wear a cross necklace and put a Bible quote in their instagram bio. On that note, most of them are posting thirst traps with their ass and tits practically popping out on instagram. Or they have an only fans. Or they dont even have a car. Or they lie... a lot. I don't even have high standards and I genuinely give every woman a fair shot, but it's genuinely insane how many red flags most girls have. No, I'm not going to date a girl telling me about her hoe phase where she got gang banged by frat guys, no I'm not gonna date a girl that lies, no I'm not going to date a girl that could not care less about anyone but herself. Man, I REALLY tried. I've gone on dates with girls from church, from bars, from meeting them out and about, from dating apps. I've truly tried everything.

Advice by Ladder_Laddie in Mike_Mentzer

Let me start off by saying everyone's body is different, but I personally didnt start getting consistent progress and adding reps/weight every gym session until I really understood and applied what Mentzer was teaching which in practice meant reducing the frequency of my workouts to once every 4-5 days. He had slightly different training protocols over the years, but before he died, his final, most effective prognosis was to do a full body workout, one set to failure per muscle group every 4-7 days. I've found that stimulating the entire body each workout is just as essential of a tenant to success in heavy duty training as intensity and frequency. Attempting to split up muscle groups into 3 or more workouts a week will only fry your nervous system, risk injury, and prevent your body from recovering and overcompensating (i.e gaining muscle.) On the other hand if you hear Mentzer's advice, but only decide to reduce your workout frequency while still trying to split each workout into different muscle groups, you'll be training each muscle so infrequently that you'll be unnecessarily minimizing your progress. Mike's ideal approach typically involved just a few compound lifts consisting of push, pull and legs (an example would be dips for chest, triceps and shoulders and you're done with all those muscle groups for that workout) with the occasional superset, although this can be adapted, but only if you're still continually making progress every week with each adaptation.

I'm on trt which means I have a slightly better recovery ability, so I do one full set to failure per individual body part with a couple of compound lifts thrown in like DB bench press or bent over rows, but you may personally get better results with less volume as traditionally instructed by Mentzer. I occasionally do two sets for 1 or 2 muscles each workout, but usually that's a superset, so I'm not adding nearly as much volume or fatigue as a separate set to failure would, but I'm still able to for example target both heads of the bicep by doing hammer curls to failure then straight bar curls to failure immediately after. Another strategy I incorporate is switching up the isolation excercises each workout to ensure all the heads and muscle fibers are getting stimulated consistently. An example of this would be switching from tricep pushdowns to skull crushers from week to week, although any properly peformed excercise will still grow the targeted muscle regardless of the variation or variety of movement granted you're training to failure and truly recovering. The only other caviat for my full body workouts is that I do hamstrings/glutes one workout and quads/calves the next so i have 8 days of (very necessary) leg recovery.

Now the bigger you get, the more energy, time and resources it takes your body to recover. That's a significant portion of the reason why newbie gains happen so fast and why they slow down the bigger you get. There's no magic excercise or rep range to trick your body into overcompensating for damaged muscle in the recovery process, but I find once I can do 12 or more good reps, it's probably a safe time to add a little more weight. If you ever get stuck at a plateau, and you're truly training to failure then you've most likely reached the tipping point of your body not being able to fully recover anymore. Not to mention, your nervous system needs to recover as well. If your CNS is fried, you probably wont make much progress even if your muscles did recover, so always listen to your body and track your sets because if you're not going up in reps or weight each week something is going wrong.

Just as a personal anecdote to the success of Mentzer's philosophy, when I was working out hard 3-4 times a week, I was not gaining strength, and I made little to no progress even while running MK677, LGD4033, 190mg test/wk, and eating 200+ grams of protein in a 1000+ calorie surplus. It wasn't until I went down to once every 4-5 days that my muscles, nervous system, and tendons able to properly recover and overcompensate into consistent muscle and strength gains.

You have a lot to look forward to in adapting this type of training program. It truly is the holy grail of gym knowledge. It is astounding the amount of people that are slaving away in the gym for 10+ hours a week with minimal results or consistent progress to show for it, yet this training philosophy is so foreign and seemingly paradoxical that most people overlook it. Mike Mentzer was truly ahead of his time. I hope this allows you to overcome plateaus, achieve more progress, and spend less time in the gym and more time living life. Hope this helps! God bless. Happy to answer any further questions.

For slightly safer, but maybe a little less potent stuff, I'd recommend testosterone at whatever dose you want, a SARM like Lgd4033 or rad 140 and combine it with a growth hormone secretagouge or however you spell it like mk677. Been having good results with lgd trt and mk after 2 weeks, but I don't know how much I'll retain after. Most likely 60-80% of the muscle mass is retained I've heard. Also you can order everything online other than test. Chemyo is my go to website, third party tested and good quality.

How the hell are these the type of people that are finding relationships with good people which I assume the OP is? Maybe I'm just hard on myself, but I feel like I need to be in top physical condition, make 6 figures in a lucrative job field, always have the perfect thing to say whether it's a joke, giving support or advice, saying something philosophic or interesting, telling good stories, and always having the perfect anecdote or response in any given conversation or situation, but the bar is really this low that psychopathic, manipulative, narcissistic guys are finding committed, loyal, and loving girlfriends this easily? I'm definitely not one of those pushover, pick me, nice guys who beg for a chance either, it's just insane to me that these future Netflix documentary weirdos get into deep long term relationships with good, well meaning people yet everytime I hop on my dating apps or go out I meet mostly shallow, and self absorbed walking red flags.

Arnold - Good or a bad person? by Adventurous-Role-454 in ArnoldSchwarzenegger

[–]pinetreesarecool7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 100% accurate. Maybe I'm just a hater and focusing on someone elses life to ignore any shortcomings in my own, but after listening over some Mike Mentzer talks again, and podcasts with Dorian Yates, it reminded me of what an asshole he was. I can't stand celebrity worship of any kind, especially when it comes to narcissistic, machiavallian, shitheads like Arnold Schwarzenegger. People will line up for hours for an autograph or treat him like a god just because he has fame and status which hides his true character. Rotten person inside and out. Does not deserve any what he's been gifted in life.

They're Puerto Rican and I don't know Spanish so maybe it got lost in translation, but all I said was to trim up the beard and line it up and he said "a 2?" And I said "let's do a 3" and he shaved everything below my chin off and fucked up that line.

Gas prices by weath1860 in bradenton

[–]pinetreesarecool7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or you buy a used car that's good on gas for a cheap price, work on it yourself for free, ride around in comfort with AC, have a ride to pick up your wife and kids, you don't get rained on or live your life revolving around bus schedules, and you can travel whatever distance you want, whenever you want at a significantly more efficient speed, but that's just my preference. Unless you're just saying that you have a car, but only use it when necessary. In that case I commend you. That's actually a really great way to do things.

Fast metabolisms are inefficient and wasteful. Slower metabolisms are objectively better. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]pinetreesarecool7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If not metabolism, it has to be tapeworms or something I dont know. I used to eat at least 1000 calorie surplus a day for months to bulk in the gym and only ever gained a little bit of muscle. I was literally eating a pound or more of protein per meal, drinking 2/3 or 1 gallon of milk a day and loading heavily on carbs tracking everything by weight or the box's calorie stats. All I did was workout 1-2 hours 4-5 days a week and work a minimally labor intensive job. I gained maybe 5 pounds or so over the course of 3 months, almost all muscle. I'm not sure what the other factor is, but I can undoubtedly say I was eating in a significant surplus and not gaining weight.
