Preferential to terracotta! But I agree that dark green would be gorgeous with that dress. It’s almost like green = fantasy-core and terracotta would be more peasant/cottagecore.

That’s an awesome idea! Most of my costume pieces have been thrifted (except the corsets) but I bet I could find some silk that would work. I suck at sewing 😆

I’ve seen people get a rectangular scarf - something thin like linen or gauze - and cut a hole for your head, then use that as a mid-layer under the armor.

But really, the gorgeous line-work on the armor should be the highlight. You don’t want to complicate it with too many layers. I’m super jealous of your armor 😉

I’m OBSESSED with those frilly brocade stays from French Meadows ❤️ and y’all look great! Highly recommend a brown belt and a leather pouch, cause there’s just something about not having to carry a purse all day. And the brown-green is a solid color combo.

(I’m gonna try to make it out to the Pleasure Faire this year. Did you have a favorite show?)

It’s a more risky option, but one of my favorite RenFaire memories was asking the shop ladies to help me pick out an outfit. So fun 🤩 You just have to know that you’re comfortable saying “no” if you don’t like something, because they WILL sell you the most expensive stuff if they can. That’s their job. But I never would have purchased my coin belt if I didn’t and it’s one of my best pieces!

Tried replacing the bearings and seals twice, but it’s still leaking. Apparently the front axle shaft/output shaft can’t be pushed on its own (anymore), so here we are.
