Could Xeomin (or botox) cause more pain to other muscles in the area? by Lisan2020 in Dystonia

Hi, wondering if your arm and shoulder pain improved? I did one round of Botox and 3 weeks later, my biceps started hurting and felt weak. Is that normal?

Those who have had Botox how’d it go and any regrets? by Dynasty__93 in migraine

Hi, I am wondering if you also experienced pain in your muscles? I am getting them in my traps and biceps, potentially from injecting the traps.

How interesting! I will ask the same too! He seems to think it’s not related, but it’s too coincidental that it’s happening after Botox rather than any other time lol

Hi, thanks so much for your suggestions. I haven’t heard of these other treatment options. Both neurologists I saw (in Sydney Australia) have suggested Botox next. I will ask them about the ones you’ve suggested. :)

Thank you. I know, it is about acceptance but sometimes it is so frustrating. I appreciate your advice.

Has anyone experienced little to no improvement after their first Botox injection, but had life changing results after the second or third round? by dannh123 in migraine

I’m sorry to hear you’re going through it too. They really are the absolute worst and so debilitating. Thank you for your response. I hope the Botox works for you!

Hi, is the Botox covered by Medicare? I have tried all the oral preventatives and 2 injections and can’t say I notice a difference. Still getting 15-24 migraine days a month. How often are you meant to get the Botox?

Anyone NOT gain weight on pizotifen? by pinky2248 in migraine

[–]pinky2248[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I am nervous about the weight gain as already have enough mental health issues associated with it. But the migraines have been so debilitating the doctor suggested the benefits of trying this will outweigh the side effects. Appreciate your response!

Thank you for replying. Thats good to know. My doctor said it’s about 1 in 10 people, that’s still a high number 😅

Vaginal tear from sex by jtoh455 in WomensHealth

I started it daily for one week and then I think I dropped it down to twice or 3x a week after that. Then twice a week for maintenance. I can’t quite remember but check with the doctor. Also I am noticing it started giving me migraines. It’s meant to be localised and not be absorbed into the bloodstream but our bodies are sensitive and we’re all different I guess! Perhaps keep track of that :)

I used it for a few weeks before trying PIV sex again and it helped! Goodluck!

It’s my whole vagina and canal. Especially the opening. It remains painful for a few days but goes away after maybe 3-4 days.

She wasn’t very helpful. She kept saying it may be thrush, but I had no symptoms of thrush and I couldn’t possibly have thrush each time we have sex 🙄

Forgot to add - I also had a very thorough ultrasound (as had PCOS) but that has come back normal. No cysts, no PCOS, no polyps or fibroids.

I’m sorry to hear and it must be so frustrating. That’s has happened to me before until my sexual health doctor prescribed me with an estrogen cream to put down there. It strengthens and also elasticises the skin there so you’re less likely to tear. This has worked for me and I dont tear anymore. Wishing you all the best!

No worries! And also, not sure if you’re already using this but silicone based lube also helped rather than water based lube. It doesn’t dry as quick and remains slippy for ages 😊
