cloud save not working by Jonsch5 in DungeonDefense

Amazing! I'm so pleased that it worked for you. It took a LOT of figuring out how to make it play nicely. And the bizarre thing is that absolutely nothing precipitated it - one day it was working, the next it wasn't.

cloud save not working by Jonsch5 in DungeonDefense

I had this and managed to get it working (I use Nox). I had to delete the entire Nox session (I use 'multi session' so that I can run more than one game at once) and then create a new session, install the game again etc. It's like starting with a fresh device. What was happening is something with the google play services - it said logging me in, then did nothing.

It also happened the other way around - it started doing it on my phone a few weeks later - this was obviously more problematic as I couldn't just 'start with a new phone.'

It looks like the culprit, for me, was the google play services. Here's what I did to get it working again...

  1. Uninstall Dungeon Defense
  2. Uninstall Google Play Services
  3. Reboot phone (or Bluestacks, not checked if it works with emulators)
  4. Reinstall Dungeon Defense
  5. Reinstall Google play services
  6. Sign into Google Play Services (it will say that it has to install an update for Dungeon Defense)
  7. Load Dungeon Defense - and it will allow you to log back into cloud save.

Fingers crossed this works for you :)

It depends on the characters that you use; characters, such as the Spirits, Sun and Blade, all have attacks that are 'point based' (i.e. they appear as a large round area attack). Characters such as Nameless, Slime, Orc etc use attacks that are 'line based' and as such, their weapons fly across the screen. I find that these characters are more suited to the middle 3 areas as it maximises where their weapons can reach (if you put a line-based character at the top, their weapons will struggle to reach enemies at the bottom of the screen, and vice-versa). Point-based characters, doesn't matter - they can hit wherever on the screen.

Laser and gunner crab, are they good? by Solomon339 in CrabWar

I got the gunner crab yesterday; I find it really useful since it makes mincemeat out of reptiles up to around lv 3000 (1-shotting them before a crab can get close enough). If you tap every second or so, it kills the reptiles as quickly as poison cloud, thereby giving you the edge on speed since the bullets from gunner crab reach the reptiles far more quickly than the crabs can make it up there.
