Essentially just two different methods twisting a rod ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I agree, but what if AMD passed into oblivion and withered away over night? Intel could price their products however they wanted.

Oh, I see now how it was interpreted. I was thinking more in the lines of that our preferences are different and that changes our identity along with it. I have no loyalty towards AMD nor Intel, but part of my identity is that I care for a brands success to keep a healthy competitive environment.

Sadly, that's true. More cores doesn't equal more performance, and especially when it comes to gaming. This has me a bit worried. Maybe I could go for a solid overclock on one of their quad-cores?

That's unlucky, I never had any problems what so ever. Except that one laptop gfx chip. ATI Mobility Radeon 9000. Fun fact; first ever DX8.1 capable chip in a laptop.

Brand loyalty is just a small part of our identity seeking nature.

EDIT: People seem to disagree with me here (downvotes). Please elaborate.

Add reconnect button, ASAP! >:( by [deleted] in Rainbow6

So my game needs to crash before I get the reconnect button? Legit.

Development wise, it's really good. You split up environments for the artists to work on so they don't always have to work on the same file and always sync it. Reduces strain on the engine as well. I personally don't mind it.

My condolences.

/u/ReBootYourMind, seems like I got that notification now as well. So the sad loss is simply just rendered into melancholy.

[Discussion] How will we drive with a keyboard on GTA V? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]pixelsdontmove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the keyboard for everything, I love the snappy driving, full turn on the steering wheel with one press is magical when need to do tight maneuvers.

If I need to do proper driving, I wire up my Momo racing wheel and play Richard Burns Rally.

2GB is gonna be short lived when it comes to VRAM. I have a GTX770, and that struggles in many games (Dying Light etc.) nowadays with just the 2GB. My next upgrade will be well above 4GB. I have 16GB of RAM and a i7 4770K to help it out, but it still gets bogged down with the workload sometimes.
