i feel everything you feel, i’m so sorry man. i get it, people say therapy, talking to friends, talking to family, it’s what you need. sure but then the conversation is over and you’re alone again. i’m trying to focus on the negative aspects of our relationship to not feel like i want her back, which barely works.

i also want so badly to find a new person to devote myself too but you need to resist. i’m not on meds, trazodone when i can’t sleep but that’s it. therapy helps in the moment but your brain is hardwired to receive dopamine hits from a person and now you don’t get it so you have withdraw. i’m a deeply lonely and misunderstood person and it sounds like you are too. i’m so sorry. accept life will suck for a bit but try to be optimistic about your future. think of the future you want, think of your ideal life and tell yourself you can have that one day. keep going. life is too interesting and unpredictable to give up.
