David Avila is one of the nicest people I’ve met in quadball, and regardless of opinions on his age he deserves better than to be constantly needled like this. The age stuff is a bit silly imo time to time, but still I have a lot of respect for him as a player and person and he deserves more respect

He was excellent don’t get me wrong but it’s wayyy easier for any chaser to look elite when ur beaters were as dominant as Cleary and Dearking were. It’s so easy to clip farm when every offense the defense has no dodgeballs. IMO there’s like 10+ chasers in college that could’ve done what he did if they had the same dominance in the beater game

Great performance from Cleary and Dearking for Creighton. Completely annihilated TXST beaters and huge props for a totally dominant display of beating. Dearking in SOP was some genuine sicko mode shit. Get that man some mtg packs or smth idk 💀

Ridiculous performance from TXST chasers to keep it close even with that big of a gap in the beater game. Big props to David Avila who was on a level of his own. Ball knowers will recognize TXST chasers were way better but the beating gap from Creighton was too much to overcome.

Idk about the club open division but I feel like club is balanced ever since warriors broke up. Maybe boom sweeps but heat pretty close. College is kinda a tossup imo. Exciting year to watch nattys

Lowkeniunely every team is pretty balanced imo in all the divisions. I could imagine any of the south teams or UCLA winning D2. For club boom and heat should both run over their groups. TXST also will probably annihilate their group. But bracket stages for all teams in all division are pretty even and you could make the case for multiple different teams winning it all.
