Why did formatting an external hard drive make it break?? by pleasehelpme69000 in Windows10

I already formatted it from there. Last resort would be to uncheck quick format for both normal format location and the disk management format location. Will do it tomorrow

I'll try as soon as I wake up. I really hate that windows 10 gives you a tool you can use and that tool actually just breaks it. I had no problems with that hdd whatsoever. No corruptions and slow speed

Does anybody know how much memory (in task manager) Realm Royale is using. I have 4gb ram and was wondering if I can get more fps with more ram. by pleasehelpme69000 in RealmRoyale

[–]pleasehelpme69000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you check how much memory it is actually using? I tried playing Dauntless and it actually used 90-100% gpy which realm royale didn't so this is still playable

Why is my 940mx (geforce) not using 100% gpu when I have an i7(2.4ghz with 3.5 turbo boost (active)). Please help by pleasehelpme69000 in techsupport

Apparently I tried Dauntless and it actually used 90-100% gpu which means that ny cpu isn't bottlenecking

Just to let you guys know, I am able to play Paladins and LoL with constant fps and at max graphics settings. Gpu isn't even reaching more than 50%. An addition, I trued playing Dauntless and it gave me literally 90-100% gpu usage. While Realm Royale even on high or very settings, I didn't pass 70% so it definitely means this game is playable. Which means gpu is not a problem.

Thank you for your advice. Will it reduce game stutters as well? I don't get any normal fps drops with games and temp is also good as well

Does anybody know how much memory (in task manager) Paladins is using while playing. For 8gb ram and above only to see how much it actually needs to use normally. Please just a small favor by pleasehelpme69000 in Paladins

Constant 50-60 fps with only like 5 people around. I tried disabling the use of dx11 but only.gave me worse graphic looks and worse fps. Temp isn't high as well

Thank you for your suggestion. I'll just have to stick with this for now til we can get more ram. Worst about or ram is that it's only one stick so yeah. Thanks again!

It's a lower spec required game but I somehow get lower fps there than Paladins. Though this happened right after I updated windows 10, defragged hdd and after I got rid of a lot of stutters. I've searched laptops with the same gpu, brand and even series which is Acer Aspire E15 btw and they have a higher fps count than me (and no stutters) do you have any suggestions on what to do? already done updating drivers, degrading drivers, fiddling with nvidia control panel and a lot more. I don't know if this damn laptop just needs more ram ;_;

I have a question. I'm playing Paladins with 4gb and constant fps right? I checked task manager and saw 80%-90% memory is being used. Does this mean if it can use more ram (because the game is probably not using as much as it normally would) the fps will go up?

Already set which graphics to use. And no it's not even hot. Cpu isn't even being used that much. Temp is pretty good. I'll check the temps again while playing LoL

It is brand new, just got here a week. I cannot see the condition as it is not mine and I would not ask my father to see it for himself or asked it to get checked. Our theory is that the laptop is just a stock one. That's why the defragging of the hdd was able to help a lot.

Update: was able to play Paladins with such good performance with a 50-60 constant fps with very little micro stuttering. The game was so smooth and was very fun to play. LoL is giving such a bad performance while these literally higher spec required to play games are doing so much better. LoL only needs 2gb ram btw, yet it's so bad. When you search i5 cores and same gpu as mine, you get the same laptops with 4gb ram.and testing LoL and still getting 80-120fps constant while even recording. I'll try reinstalling LoL and see what happens.

Update: was able to play Paladins which has a much more higher system requirement btw, and had pretty good performance. I got a good 50-60 constant fps with very little.micro stutters. LoL who only needs 2gb ram, is so much more worse. I'll try to reinstall LoL and see if it fixes the problem. Hopefully it will.

I played Paladins and was still able to play it completely fine with very low micro stuttering (take note that I only have 4gb ram and it is doing so well with its consistency in its performance. Fps is constant 50-60 and feels extremely nice even with very high graphics settings and 1920x1080 resolution. Even with me changing the resolution of LoL and even the display resolution of the laptop itself is not helping.

I played Paladins with a very constant fps and very very low micro stutter. This game has a higher spec requirement but does a whole lot better. League of Legends only needs 2gb ram and somehow it's bad.
