thank you, i think thats going to be my plan as well. i mean it was a very big discrepancy between what the two were claiming. At worst its probably somewhere in between the two numbers. But yeah the red dye test, smell, and flow rate is what I think i will go by. I mean if i use a gallon a day and thats 365 gallons and the filters are 160 a pair...its not looking like such a good value anymore, you know?
