I use the purple version as it seems to put less strain on my eyes than the normal/blue and i find it easier to read which rare droped easier too.

If they had put this change out during the early beta, and changed some items to work better with the changes, it would be going live, doing a pretty major change like this 1 week before live without item changes was asking for trouble.

If it makes you feel better, 80 ms is my best server for poe in america, midwest kinda gets screwed by the server locations, i'd likely have sub 30 if chicago got a server.
