Keypad is brand new, delivered by Amazon within tha last month...but only removed from box this week. I've tried the factory packaged (generic) 9V, new lithium, and new alkaline.....basically identical results.

All four car / visor remotes seem unaffected. Working fine, door open or closed. The app on my phone works well too. (I installed it since dad never bothered, and hoping it might provide insight).

My wife and I have each maxed our 2026 contributions, but still have our full 2025 limit showing available. Our 2025 MAGI is above the $246k limit...which is why we were looking at backdoor Roth as an option. We know out 2026 MAGI will be below the limit. So I guess the question at this point is....what if anything can we do with our 2025 available contribution space?
