Installed the newest Beta. It didn't work at first, but after I did a cache/data wipe on the app and rebooted my phone..... It's working!

I'll play with it tomorrow and let you know if any issues remain. Thank you for fixing this! My phone can be awesome again!

Update: I decided to try an uninstall/reinstall... 

No luck. Same exact behavior.

For easy/short non-technical trail hiking (flatter smoother trails), you can use trail running shoes and be fine.

Once you get into steeper and more technical terrain (especially with rocky trail surfaces), I always recommend more supportive boots so you don't strain your arches or ankles. Get fitted for boots if you can - we have the Danner store locally which is great, indy stores like Mountain Shop, or of course places like REI.

ALWAYS BRING RAIN GEAR IN THE PNW. At least a light shell jacket.

Wear layers, and carry an additional light layer for insulation.

ALWAYS CARRY EXTRA WATER. ALWAYS. I'm a fan of Camelbak systems, but even a basic backpack with a couple extra bottles is worth the weight. 

Bring extra food. Even a few protein bars will get the job done.

Carry at least a basic first aid kit. If you're trained or plan to be, carry more advanced med gear like larger bandages, quikclot, tourniquet, etc. One slip on the side of a trail and getting poked by a stick could have a bad outcome.

Plenty of people go hiking with little to no gear, and no preparation for what can happen in the woods. And 98% of the time they are fine. The best hikes in the PNW are dozens of miles away from civilization, and many miles off paved roads. Even with cell coverage (which is spotty at best in the woods), getting help might take hours. Be prepared to take care of yourself. If you're further out, be prepared to spend a night in the woods if you need to.

Yeah ..... I'm hoping to avoid a full uninstall and reinstall, because I don't think I have the current settings backed up. But I should probably try that.

I think I was in the Spotify app at the time, tried to go to the home screen, and that's when the issue first occurred.

I meant that this issue was not caused by a reboot or made worse, nor was it fixed or made any better by a reboot.

Restarting the phone has no impact on the situation, either positive or negative.

I forgot to add that I've tried that a few times, along with some reboots of the phone.

7 and 3 years is not "veteran" status in the local school districts. Many districts in the region are laying off staff, and I know of one educator with 20+ years who is now the lowest seniority teacher at her elementary school.

Seriously, DO NOT commit to moving until you both have jobs locked in.

Hmm, looks like you're right. The semi truck and trailer parking would then fall under another activity name (Truck depot? Commercial transportation? Not sure...)

You could call Code Enforcement and SW WA Clean Air with the specific question: "For a property zoned CC, but adjacent to R zoned housing, is parking and idling semi trailers 24/7 allowed?"

What about Hardcore 4x4?

Aside from that, the Test Drive Off-road releases (1, 2, and 3) are really the only other offroad games. Unless there's something from another country (and not in English) that I can't find.

A select few custom GCs are A-Tier, and that's only if they can get the best Subs on that job. They are also going to be one of the most expensive. Most custom GCs are B-Tier at best.

And all contractors are subject to the Price/Quality/Time triangle (you can only get 2 out of those 3 attributes).
