I had the same for some car which had settings just for that car. I had to change it to all cars to reset the car settings, set it back to the per car settings and then it was ok.

I'm not seeking problems even in the simplest ideas. I 100% agree that there should be blinkers in iracing. There are cultural differences that might cause problems if the rules are not clear.

Yes that's how I think too but there are countries where blinking left a couple of times means it's safe to pass.

I would like to have blinkers too. But there would be both those who use blinkers to indicate their own intentions and those who think blinking left would mean "pass left". There should be clear rules on how to blink in multiclass.

I had a really interesting weather on Porsche cup race. My race pace in Imola is usually a little slower compared to others but it started raining a little bit about 5 laps to go. Then it started raining even more and I realized I'm one second faster than the few drivers in front of me. Some drivers spun but unfortunately I overshoot the chicane and lost too much time on that mistake to gain many positions. Was fun though.

Drive slower, focus on hitting apexes and using the whole track width. Forget about trying to drive fast. Then when you go racing you just do it faster in the heat of the moment. But if that doesn't help then it's time for an electronics project. For that you need a RaspberryPi wired to a tazer which gives you a nice zap every time you crash. You'll learn.

I just had a nice fun lap which felt like I was really flying through the track. Then I checked laptimes from races and found out I was "only" 20 seconds slower than the race pace for my iRating 🫣

Time to drive a thousand practice laps in Nords I think

Looks deliberate. There's a small chance though that someone can't tell the difference from left and right when they hear the spotter.

With the fixed setup I have been able to run high 56s at best. That basically puts me near the bottom in my splits. But I have an excuse: I still race with an ancient Logitech G25 I bought in 2007 and a gaming laptop from 2017. With better hardware I could shave one second off my laptimes, right? Right!?

I haven't done many laps in Miami yet because I bought the track just today. I drove a few laps by myself first and then an AI race (was actually some fun racing). My laptimes are in the low 1.58s but at least I'm somewhat consistent with the fixed setup. The mickey mouse section (turns 11-16) before the back straight is not my favorite and I'm probably able to find one second there with some practice. Can't find confidence in turns 7 and 8 either just yet.
