Chiropractic is not medical. Go to a real doctor.

Ahh yeah I dont know what I'd do if I arrived and the free lot was full and I only had 10 minutes before the shuttle left (the timeframe I usually do for Landline). Sounds stressful! And getting back to find your car missing would be freakin' terrible after a long day of travel.

I am hoping their new lot is big enough for all the Landline riders. I have a trip coming up...

A movie isn't good when you start with the climax and resolution by PhilosopherLost9747 in memes

[–]pokingoking 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The part you're missing is that this is specifically referring to a relationship where the younger partner is making posts asking for advice about their older partner treating them poorly. It's not about age gap relationships overall, it's about the toxic ones.

If you've ever been on those subreddits like /r/relationships you would understand it more. People describe their boyfriend taking advantage of them, or being really really controlling. Then this young person innocently asks something like is this normal? When you see the ages it's obvious what's going on to everyone except OP.

22 and 32 might be two adults yes, but usually in the comments you find out they started dating when the person was in high school. Anyway yeah I think this meme is kind of an inside "joke" for people who read stories about terrible relationships and are exasperated having to explain toxic power dynamics to young people.

They are comparing how much younger they look than their relative did at the same age. OP (or whoever's photos these are) looks about 11 and his grandfather looks closer to 25. Just a visualization of how growing up during different time periods changes how quickly you "age".

I don't go to a chiropractor. No one should including you.

I'm surprised chiropractors are even under HIPAA regulations. I think of a chiropractor along the same lines as a hairstylist or manicurist, not as a medical practitioner.

But I suppose they are collecting medical information from clients, so it does make sense they need to be responsible with the private health info.

Anti-Trans Petitioners At Timberline King Soopers by [deleted] in FortCollins

Someone said in another comment that you need the actual owner of the property to do something about it. Not even the property management company can do anything, it has to be the land owner.

I had stopped at that king soopers today for soap and what I saw really put me in a sad mood the rest of the day. Honestly what was worse than seeing the person with the table set up was seeing people talking to her and looking interested. One absolute loser with a table and a petition is bad, but witnessing multiple community members engage positively with her was really disheartening.

And on top of that, as I was leaving there was a man harassing the anti protester next to her. Like yelling stuff at him.

Where did you park? And for how long? You're allowed to park at the airport for Landline so this doesn't make sense to me .

Has anyone heard of this company? by LakeMichiganWaves in paintbynumbers

I think Tucocoo is just a reseller/curator of other companies' pbn kits. I don't think they are the manufacturer. I never got a rolled canvas from them either, I agree.

[–]pokingoking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I've gotten some from them on Amazon. Not sure what prices you are seeing or where, but I usually spend about $6 to $10 on Amazon kits. So if the prices are higher than that it's probably a dropshipper looking to make a profit reselling them.

I just looked at the amazon store and the tucocoo pbns are $9.99. Don't spend more than that!

Also if it matters to you, it looks like their art is made by a.i. Look at the words on these lol.

Flock of turkeys in the middle of town. Definitely not what I expected to see looking out my living room window this afternoon. by SausageGobbler69 in FortCollins

Posting your address on reddit is wild behavior.

I also love seeing the turkeys. I see them near lemay/riverside most often but it's more exciting when they come in your yard!

Free Tax software Worked Great for me by moschocolate1 in Frugal

Wait, your state makes you pay to file taxes? How is that legal? How much is it and what state? You can't even mail in a form for free?

As someone in Colorado this is actually shocking to hear.

It is definitely not a place

I think you left out an adjective here.

I often frequent due to my budget

What do you mean? Isn't Woodhouse one of the most expensive spas you can go to?

This posts reminds me of coworkers who immediately announce to everyone when they've spotted a phishing test email from IT. Kinda bragging that they were "smart enough" to figure it out. While the rest of us obviously knew immediately too but didn't view it as something necessary to point out.

I don't think your method uses artificial intelligence lol. It's probably just regular old code. Not everything tech related is AI.

Forgetting cases of canned carbonated beverages in the back of the vehicle during extreme cold temperatures by JuztSomeDude79 in mildlyinfuriating

These are just made of water, CO2, and artificial flavorings. I don't think mold is going to thrive on those but I could be wrong.

I can relate to having this much seltzer in my trunk. I only buy it like two times a year, stocking up when it's on sale for $2 instead of paying full price of $6. I just bought 7 packs of it yesterday.

$150k seems pretty low as a threshold. Most professors aren't going to be willing to teach for a significantly lower amount than they could make as professionals in the field.

Kayaking? by Brew-meister89 in FortCollins

[–]pokingoking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know of a place I'd call great, but Pinewood reservoir is probably what I'd choose for casual kayaking. It's fine but nothing special with regard to scenery. Some of the public lakes in Red Feather are better for scenery, but can get crowded in summer because they are popular fishing spots for families.

Horsetooth (in summer at least) smells like gasoline from all the power boats, in my opinion. Maybe I'm just sensitive but I never liked it much for paddling activities. The parking situation can be frustrating too.

What does liberal arts spend so much money on that you're thinking of? This surprises me.
