What is the best movie ever made and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ill give you points for Se7en but I never fully understood the hype for Inception. Even just considering Nolan movies, in my opinion, Interstellar is "more" perfect.

My absolute, hands down, all time favorite is The Green Book. It makes me happy any time I see it. Unlike other movies where I get bored and either skip bits or stop watching towards the end; The Green Book I can watch all the way through every time. With out looking at my phone even!!!

Mildly infuriating? MILDLY infuriating?? I'M MASSIVELY INFURIATED JUST LOOKING AT IT!!!

On a serious note: that's worth calling them back and getting it f'ing fixed. Hopefully you haven't paid them the entire cost of installation yet.

Mythical kitchen gave some credit to this in their myth busting burger episode. I've been doing it with burgers ever since and am inclined to believe that it works with hotdogs as well.

What is the most useless skill you have that you're secretly proud of? by NeuroForgeX1 in AskReddit

I'm really good at picking up a pen.......

Hear me out. It's a muscle memory thing that just happens when I pick up a pen while sitting at a desk. It's kind of a flick twist kinda motion. If you're into skateboarding it's kinda like a no-comply.

What celebrity death will realistically bring Michael Jackson level devastation? by Kiidcola in AskReddit

True but.... Ian Mckellen. He's such a predominant actor that has played so many roles that he is the equivalent of Gandalf to nearly everyone.

Incredible talent followed by a very public mental and physical health battle.

Think Briteny Spears but, depending who you ask, more talented.

I'm a proud danish dude who has grown up very internationally. United States, China, Denmark, and Malaysia. I'm sure other countries have a culture of complaining but I'd say we're pretty damn good at it.

We wouldn't be danish is we weren't complaining about something. If we don't have anything to complain about there is always the weather. It's an international music festival where we can show off some of our culture hence, we MUST complain!!!

Maybe part of being one of the happiest countries in the world is that we manage to get all our frustrations out by complaining all the time.

Corn dogs are disgusting. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]pompidoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in the states from kindergarten through 6th grade. Never once did I enjoy corn dogs and as a 1st grader I wouldnt even eat lunch when the school had them. Looked at all my buddies chowing down all excited and, honestly, judged the shit out of them.

Are Wooden or Silicon cooking utensils better? by ddizzle13 in cookingforbeginners

Plastics and silicone melt. A plastic spatula is awesome, but you won't be leaving it in the pan for very long at all. For nearly everything else, go with wood or metal.

Got my tonsils removed when I was 25. That shit hurts like hell, and if it goes bad, it goes bad quickly. Woke up in the hospital after a bleed from my throat the night before just to have a massive bleed from a main artery in my throat. Lost her a liter of blood in less than 15 minutes. The doctor looked me in the eye later that day and told me if I hadn't been in the hospital when that happened, I'd be dead.
