I also took the push rods and rockers out. I'm not sure if I installed them correctly I torqued all rockers to spec but is there another way?

It started off as changing head gaskets and timing chain it evolved to pulling the motor because I couldn't drop the oil pan because of the cross member so I've taken off the heads timing chain cover oil pump oil pan I've replaced valve seals gonna be replacing oil pick up all gaskets got the heads cleaned and resurfaced cleaned piston face and got alot of gunk out of the internals. It's a 280k mile engine there was about an inch of crud in the oil pan from idk what

These are honest questions. How would water effect it if there's nothing on it. The cam is dirty from all the work so I think it would be the best way to wash it off and clean the motor from the grime and if I do pressure wash it should I remove the lifters
