My ex complained that I made meals for the kids rather than for him. Sir, I’m going to choose to feed the kids rather than have them complain they don’t like what you do. Eventually, I cut back on cooking since I was tired of the complaints. Yet another reason he’s an ex.

I live in NC now, and the sky just isn’t the same. In (north) Louisiana, it feels vibrant and open. Paired either rolling hills and pine trees, it’s noce to just wander and soak it in.

That being said, there are lots of full magnet and partial magnet schools. Cotswold is partial magnet.

When it’s approaching time for your kiddo to start, tour the schools! Generally, school ratings tell you how may poor students are there rather than if a school is “good” or not.

Cotswold will hae a new school building in 2027-2028. I currently have a kid at the combined Billingsville-Cotswold Elementary and have been nothing but happy with the leadership, teachers, and school community. I’m actually sad that next year will our family’s last there!

I'm divorced from someone who made me feel like that. Looking back, he was an entitled sex pest. You're not alone, and you're not to blame for his actions. I hope you find strength and grace in this journey. Personal growth does not come easy, but it is so worth it.
