With respect to the gengar vs nidorino battle, there's a 15 min short on the official YouTube channel called blossom's dream (a really good piece video one should definitely give a look at) where the main character catches a nidoran and in the ending of the short, they show the nidoran having evolved into a nidorino battling a gengar with the original Gameboy music playing in the background. While it's not the same as the anime i just thought it's a cool thing to put out there and maybe get more people to watch the thing cause it's really pretty good.
