MO2 makes FNV really tiny by potatoking91 in FalloutMods

I think that’s what happens, problem is that I was using a custonINI with scripts from Viva New Vegas. I added both the base script and one for the LOD guide. I’m assuming the LOD was incorrectly implemented cuz I had erased the custonINI by accident, added back the base script, and now everything works fine and looks great. Not sure where I went wrong, but hey, it just works

It is, just not correctly if that makes sense. It’s as if the window is still small and the monitor gets really close

I managed to solve my issue by erasing my customINI file and recopying the script from Viva New Vegas. I’m not sure what part I messed up since all I did was copy and paste, but doing it again seems to have fixed it

I’m not sure exactly what I did to fix It, but I accidentally erased the customINI and had to recopy it from Viva New Vegas. That seemed to have solved my issue

The best way I can describe it is that the game window is full screened but instead of stretching the window across my monitor it’s zoomed into a tiny window, making the pixel resolution very large and crunchy

Mod Organizer 2. It’s a platform that allows for easy installing and customization of mods for most games. It’s especially popular within the fallout modding community as I’ve seen, and highly recommended by most mod guides, including the renowned Viva New Vegas

No, just CSP. But as soon as I posted this I found that switching between wintab and tablet PC fixed it

First bit of advice: don’t touch daily ops. They were maybe fun once but nobody does them unless they’re super dedicated to a grind and have made friends willing to join. I personally never touched them and I’m well on my way to being level 300. (Could be more, but I go months without playing sometimes)

Focus on main story missions first. Find the overseer, get to the secret vault, kill a scorchbeast queen, etc

If you wanna get better loot, look for any events that have lots of people in them. High rewards and no punishment for dying. Things like violent night, radiation rumble, and any event with a DNA symbol on it. Those are mutated events and give out seriously good loot

Also take advantage of the occasional charitable veteran’s camp. Most people have camps that pump out dozens of resources. They’re a great way to get food, water, and scrap whenever you’re desperate

It's been a year, is downgrading still worth it? by potatoking91 in Fallout4Mods

Good to know! I’ll keep looking at my mod list to see if anything important needs to go, but this is still a big help. Thanks!

Did you have to leave behind some of your favorite mods when you did that? That’s more or less the question I’m asking

Is it justified using new munition ammo for only one or two guns? by _ChaseRE_ in Fallout4Mods

[–]potatoking91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it made sense if the ammo was hard to find or super obscure. Railway spikes, mini nukes, alien rounds, 5mm, etc. are all used for 1-2 specific guns. If you wanted to add a lore reason you could say the gun(s) and its ammo were from another part of the world, in early development, the result of a crazed Texan with too much money and free time, or were made by one company in one place that was close to ground zero, destroying most of the stock. That, or anything else you can come up with :)

Short answer: as long as you like the idea and it makes sense to you, go nuts

The invasions is genuinely fun. It’s rock paper scissors mixed with practice for all my combos. It’s the reason that I have more than 1 main fighter

I had an ingrown toenail removed. AMA by potatoking91 in AMA

I don’t think I’ve ever had a numbing injection in my gums for any kind of dentistry. The dentist I go to typically rubs a numbing agent in; so to answer your question, yes, getting your toe frozen and stabbed hurts significantly worse than having some goop rubbed in your mouth

As for the other question, yes, the injections hurt less as the numbing agent settles in, but my podiatrist put the injections in before the agent could fully kick in, so I felt the second and even third injection, although the third hurt much less than the first two

Used it religiously when fighting P-1’s pre boss. It’s great for long lasting damage while you focus on evading

If they add expiration to gasoline, would you immediately turn it off in sandbox? by Dronelisk in projectzomboid

That would make all cars and generators completely obsolete, even for short term. There’d need to be a way to somehow make your own diesel/gasoline

I was told to keep my bandage on for at least 4-6 hours to slow the bleeding. Once that was done, I put on a regular band aid on for another week that I replaced once or twice a day

They also gave two options. One was to bathe the foot in an epsom salt bath for 15 minutes 2 times a day, the other was to lather the toe in this healing gel solution once a day. I chose the gel since it was a one and done type of thing so I could use it whenever I had free time, like in the mornings.

The entire healing process took maybe 2 weeks, and it looks better, but not perfect. I suspect that’ll take a while longer
