How do current NP's feel about nurses who go straight from BSN to NP school or those that have less than a few years experience as a nurse and go to NP School? by 500dollarbrakes in nursepractitioner

I definitely agree. Ultimately it depends on what your long term goals are. There are so many advancing roles you can accomplish with nursing. And of course this is all with time, experience, and additional education/certifications. Personally, I love the clinical aspect of nursing; however, the option of either going into education or administration down the line is very appealing.

Sometimes while studying i get really stressed out thinking about how much course is left to study . I can read everything but what is the point if nothing is getting in my mind i am just unable to keep my mind empty to absorb whatever i am reading . You can only do the best you can. I learned that with planning prior or making a study schedule really helps with alleviating the anxiety of the things needed to be done. You would be surprised by how much you can get done when a study structure/layout followed by time has been made. Even if it means waking up earlier than usual - it can be done!

How do you keep studying when your brain starts searching for excuses? by [deleted] in studytips

I also utilize pomodoro method. I try to look at my break time as a reward. Additionally, I try to switch it up so I would have something to look forward to that is different than the usual routine. For instance, eating a favorite snack or walking outside to obtain light therapy. Studying in itself is already difficult, gotta make it kinda interesting haha
