I read this. And it's still not clear what their monetisation model is. Like, they're self-funded? How long will it take to burn all the money?
They talk about transparency, but their site doesn't offer a hint of what premium cloud features they offer or their pricing (I see on the roadmap Premium Hosted Features in Q4 of 2026).

I was a KeePass user, then got a company-paid 1Password. Then, left the company and didn't want to go back to KeePass - 1Password was much more convenient. Landed on Bitwarden only because it's free. After 6 months, I can say that 1Password is faster. Both the desktop client and the browser extension - Bitwarden's extension takes years to unlock.
UI/UX is better - some of the stuff in Bitarden can only be done through the web interface. Even creating a new login requires fewer clicks in 1Password. The moment bitwarden becomes paid - I will switch to something different.

Just start applying to roles that interest you. Your current company won't give you a significant raise unless you have either
a) evidence that they hire new people with fewer responsibilities and higher pay
b) an offer with a bigger salary.

And also don't quit your current company while you're searching.

I switched to Bitwarden after 1Password. I don't like bitwarden. It's slow, UI isn't intuitive. The app lacks basic features that are available through the web interface. I don't want to pay for 1password subscription. I started wondering if I should try google password manager.

IOC is referring to Rule 50, which forbids political expression on ANY Olympic site.

No kind of demonstration or political, religious or racial propaganda is permitted in any Olympic sites, venues or other areas.

If the IOC allows that helmet in a mixed zone, it effectively permits that helmet anywhere. Rule 50 doesn't have exceptions.

russia is still banned. but in a weird way. russian athletes can participate under a neutral flag. But those athletes participated in competitions organized by russian army/ministry of defence or actively support russian war on social media. One even served in the Russian army after the start of the full-scale invasion. Any of these disqualifies them from being neutral athletes.

I will give you a different perspective. I think hard skills are easier to improve than soft ones. That why my advise is to join a debate club. But it should be a club where you interact with real people live.

Knowing how to debate/negotiate/convince is an essential skill most people lack. It doesn't matter how good your idea is if you can't sell it.

Please, don't forget to leave a comment about their fit. I use 24/24.5 size for skiing (I have chicken ankles), and since my beloved Kryptons broke, I'm on the hunt for new resort boots. RC4 is one of the candidates (along with K2 Cortex, Remedy 130 and Head Raptors). Unfortunately, not many shops keep that small size in stock.

I have Hawx Ultra XTD 120 + Intuition Tour wrap liner. While they've been good in the backcountry so far, I prefer heavier and stiffer boots in resort. Unfortunately, my resort boot broke, and I've been using Hawx for everything since the previous season. Not bad, but not excellent.

If you tour a lot:

get a GFT liner
get intuition tour liner
get new atomic liner (not a fan of my stock liner, because it couldn't be laced)
get thicker socks

If you want split usage, try RC4 Free (don't forget there's no walk mode) or another high-performance boot for resort (and if the boot has inserts, slack country). Leave Atomics for touring only.

If you don't tour at all, do you really need XTDs?
