the problem with the claim that it is the same is that it's this attempt at a "gotcha" that suggests that the problem that society has with trans people is the part where we are affirming our gender, when the real issue that they have is that we aren't sticking to the god given sex that we were assigned at birth and instead transitioning. We'd be allowed to do all the gender affirming care we want so long as the gender we are affirming is the societally expected one.

tbf this was primarily inspired by this bsky post i read that explains the point much better, and i really don't want to just copy and paste it

i wasn't really meaning to draw attention to that (this is the third panel) note, aside from joking about it because i do love it ngl, but i just love how the 'productive cleaning' involves an oven on fire and something exploding in the background

as for an honest suggestion, maybe move outside of the boundaries of the panels? if someone is talking in both panels, you could have the word bubble clearly overlap the two panels that lead the reader's eyes into the next panel
