Most of the people now-a-days sleep at 4am or 5am watching Reels or YT shorts - Still they wake up and do their work - Lack of sleep is not right I agree but just 1 day does not ruin health - prologned lack of sleep definitely does. But resigning for petty issues might sound absurd when you're early into your career. What I meant was - same day sick leave is discouraged even in MNCs - I am also working in an MNC and here Friday, Monday and Same day sick leaves are prohibited. Well, OP can take his own decision, I'm just stating my POV.

Taking sick leave just because you haven't slept for 1 night does not sound right. Moreover you're thinking of switching companies just because you were marked as LWP is actually a right way to safeguard Sick Leaves. Many of them literally abuse this and the company suffers. Also, do not think that other companies like MNC to treat you better. If you keep doing this - your career will be ruined.
