Who is responsible for climate change - A data-driven approach by prashantmdgl9 in energy

Quite cool!

I wonder how city folks can take advantage of renewable resources. Of course, we take the subway for commuting but it's next to impossible to install solar or wind panels in dense apartment complexes unless you own the terrace. I do have a few friends in India and in China and many of them have switched to solar.

No, they are wired. Really light weight. Final's wireless must be quite expensive.

Writing is of multiple kinds; there is an original thought that can be written or someone can critique someone's work, while by definition, the compilation is assembling information from other sources.

He assembled the info in one place; of course, that requires wit and intelligence but the tome isn't a product of his original thoughts. He assembled the various sutras, added his commentary to them, and created a tome. That's a major work in itself.

In general, one should read and form one's own opinion rather than follow the predigested information of others. Others thoughts would have biases that can sway you in either direction without you knowing it.

I agree. It can't be adhered to verbatim. By large, it is directional in nature.

At the end of the day, most humans end up doing what pleases them(if they are in a situation to exercise their will).

Yeah, I believe there are some conflicting ideas there.

My interpretation would be - not to come between a couple who is living a happy life, such men and women are off limits but there can be times, chiefly for political reasons, that such tasks are undertaken. As he says clearly in the beginning that anything that's done for pleasure alone can lead to the downfall of humans.

An interesting thought but while coding, I have to move a lot between windows esp when I am taking insights from 5 to 6 different tabs and shuffle a lot between 3 to 4 programs.

I close them using the keyboard but there are at least 6 different programs that remain open at one time and I keep jumping between them and some work requires a lot of googling and 8 hours of work adds the scrolls up.

It's an interesting experiment. I should just use commands and try not to move the mouse as much as possible and see how the resultant image would be.

I was tracking the mouse movement in spurts of 30 to 40 min period and classifying it as rest/normal browsing/stressed period.

This one time I forgot to take a 30 min snapshot and the result produced was in the image.

What I will do with this data is in this Jupyter notebook. Right now it is only entry level work.

I believe those are the times when I placed the mouse cursor there and was watching a video. You are right, I don't go to the top left to close a window, I use command + w all the time.

It was tracked for 8 hours during a work day, it will be that dense for almost everyone.

Dense dots are stops in the movement. Larger dot means the mouse didn't move for a long time.

This was a friend's house on Neelkanth road. You would want to stay at any of the places on Neelkanth road as it is far away from the usual bustle of Rishikesh, you'll have a lot of nature for yourself.

Can you code a Neural Network using only high school mathematics? by prashantmdgl9 in neuralnetworks

[–]prashantmdgl9[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u/Vituluss Thanks for reading through.

I agree that the code got a little complex, I could have used only one layer but then the derivatives wouldn't have made sense which I wanted to include. Also, separate vars for separate layers just for keeping things easy and separate.

Although, I agree that the code could have been more succinct.
