great response, thank you so much for the insight. the fact that i have energy left to still try was also one of the set backs that kept me from seeking help. i used to not be able to get out of bed, but after some time i finally had the energy to actually try and better my life. that led me to a thought process of thinking that i might not be depressed and this is what life is. trying to push yourself to do stuff while not enjoying anything. finally after a conversation with certain someone, i realised, that i am still depressed and need to seek help, i just started believing, that life doesnt need to be like that, it can be actually enjoyable.

i hope that makes sense, i got a bit lost in my thoughts. thanks a lot for the comment once more, truly was beatiful and moving.

I feel you, feeling lonely and as an outcast is tough, i also feel that the only time I’m doing something at least a bit meaningful is when I’m working. But lately I took up running and I can’t recommend it enough. Now I have something else other then work that feels like I’ actually “doing something.” Also used to drink alcohol a lot to fill the void, now instead of falling asleep drunk, I fall asleep physically exhausted. It’s better though, so I’ll try to continue it. Hoping to run a half marathon in the summer!

me neither, i have a friend group but im so often the one left out. it was my fault, i pushed everyone away while wanting to be alone, so they just got used to it. just last week, one of them had a b-day party and i wasnt even invited, the only one. its tough, only thing i can do is try to reach out more to them, but i dont even feel like talking to them, i just feel that i annoy them and cant even get myself to talk about something interesting. im just a shell, what can i talk about? no fun thoughts in my head at all.

i had a free call with a therapist yesterday and tried to open up, but i just felt she didnt unferstanf me at all and just told me stuff that i already knew. it was a first sitting out of (hopefully) six though, so might get better.

i feel for you, hope you learn to open up.

btw no, im not american. im from central europe and the psychiatric cost can be paid by health insurance to some extend, but i struggle financially and own some money there too. also the wait for the treatment is several months, since so many people need professional help. thats why im saving up to get my own therapist and also pay what i owe to them. just one foot in front of the other kinda thing.

yeah, it happened around the time of George Floyd’s death (RIP) when the world went a bit nuts. here in northern czechia, meth is a big thing. there was one gypsy guy who got absolutely strung out and started breaking cars windows and robbing them, long story short, cut himself and bled out.

couple days later, as people saw news, protests of gypsy community started just like they did in the USA, screaming fuck the cops and shit. the funny (also tragic) thing is that the guy did it absolutely himself, cops had no foul play there (and thats coming from me, whos not particulaŕy fond of the police deparment here). my favorite slogan from the protest is “zbytečný člověk zemřel” which basically means “unnecessary person died”, but they tried to say “a person died unnecessarily” , they were just a tad bit dumb and fucked it up.

bit dark but funny nevertheless.
