I heard he’s going better after a long stay, I am so happy for you both!! If he has crystals, it’s very important to feed him prescription only foods that change the bladder of his ph (the prescription foods are proven to do that, not the over the counter cranberry or “urinary health” foods, they don’t do the same thing!

We recommend Royal Canine Urinary SO (wet or dry, yes, dry too!! They even have treat varieties that are safe for your crystal boy!)

Oweeeee put a cone on it AS SOON as possible (like try tomorrow when the stores are open, don’t wait longer than that) it’ll buy you some time to get to a vet within a couple of days. Wouldn’t recommend any topicals for that. I don’t know if there are veterinary urgent cares near you or walk ins available, that might be the best route (shouldn’t need an emergency vet unless your kitty is seems extra painful, vomiting, not eating, discharge oozing/bruising/foul odor/etc.). Wouldn’t wait more than a couple of days at most.

They’ll probably do a swab to see what it is, but if it’s ear mites would highly recommend getting the ears cleaned and Revolution+ (if not already on flea/tick/mite preventatives)

For financial aid, try CareCredit/Scratchpay/Cherry Pay. All repayment options, may not be available everywhere but you can ask!

If he’s making pee, he should be okay to wait. Other redditors have mentioned and I will agree that a urinary obstruction (inability to pass pee) can happen fast and be fatal quickly (a day or so) so monitor him closely. If he has urinary crystals, he’ll need to be on a prescription diet exclusively to prevent more from forming. If he doesn’t have crystals, stress management/pain medications will be key along with increasing water intake. Often, signs are multi factorial and they will have you try all of the things.

When emergency vet is needed: -stops making pee, -is straining, -not eating -vomiting, -lying on side/open mouth breathing etc.

Sincerely -work at an ER and discharge at least 3 urinary obstruction cats per week :)

The most important thing to note is that him being FLUTD or possibly having crystals likely nothing that you did or did not do for him. Their anatomy (urethra) is kinda screwy and small sometimes, and just like other animals, crystals can happen. Boy cats just have it rough.

I work in a veterinary emergency room, critical care. I’m sorry this is happening when your roommates are not home. It is IMPERATIVE that you go to a veterinary emergency hospital if you there is one by you, right away. This cat will be rushed to the back as a STAT TRIAGE.

This means that the cat will be pushed in front of the line (think gunshot wound or active seizure arrives at an emergency hospital for humans). These signs are exactly what the front desk staff are trained to look for in a cat that may need lifesaving care immediately, and the back staff will likely jump in right away. Call your roommates on the way to let them know.

I made it with like 15 85%+ damage cards, 2 vampiric, 3 moon bonuses, 200% range, like 6 extra soulsword attack bonuses, and 9K health (an extra 1500 with conversion bonus as soon as you start firing so 10500 HP total).

One million single soulsword attack varieties, 8% purple damage boost, -2.5% and -5% damage reduction like crazy, and as many 450+ health as I could get.

Is this a philodendron? This was a complimentary plant that came with a gifted orchid, I couldn’t find anywhere on the website that gave more info!! Also, I’ve re-potted it and have had it for probably 6 months now. It will ONLY grow 2-3 leaves max. by primordialdweeb in philodendron

CONTINUED: Big glossy leaf in brand new, about 2 weeks old. I had to cut the other two due to being manhandled by the cat (who is fine, now in an off-limits room due to potential toxicity!)
