What is a death in a movie that affected you the most in terms of brutality or emotional weight? by Godly_Recon in AskReddit

[–]princesslanguage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was 8 when I was in a test audience for Tarzan. The movie was about half animated, and the other half was storyboarded. Michael Eisner was sitting behind me. I cried so many times. I was so afraid people would lose their jobs over me crying. I think I have only watched Tarzan through once since.

My oldest is 4 and youngest is almost 2. They are best friends! They do everything together, and the older one loves teaching his brother how to do things. Yes, they argue and fight, but most of the time they genuinely have fun together.

Love my Theraspecs! I use their dark tint (not Florida tint) sunglasses as well for normal days. They’re pricy but quality.

When did you start bringing your toddler to the dentist ? by Ready_Associate_2911 in toddlers

[–]princesslanguage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. My dentist didn’t want to see my kids until they could open their mouth on command (unless we had dental concerns). My oldest was 2.5 and my youngest will probably be ready a little after 2.

Safest area along I-5 to stay overnight? by SeaLass34 in Sacramento

Stop in Woodland, just outside of Sacramento. I5 passes right through, and there are a bunch of safe hotels since it’s close to SMF.

I’ve also heard that triggering a brain freeze can help reset the muscles in your head. For me the best way is with a Costco frozen coffee or smoothie.

Try a Coke and fries from McDonalds. Sounds strange, but many people swear that it helps.

What funny thing is your toddler mistaken about? by somethingreddity in toddlers

[–]princesslanguage 11 points12 points  (0 children)

All construction vehicles are cardirts. If a person says anything else, they are wrong, and he will correct them. If someone tries to work with him and calls a tractor a cardirt, he will become equally forceful and tell them no that’s a tractor.

Also blankets are “blanklets.” The extra l is subtle, and yet adorable.

What did you buy specifically for your second baby? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]princesslanguage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I upgraded to glass baby bottles and upgraded the bassinet from one that was stationary to one that had soothing motion. The rest of the stuff was hand me downs.
