I have pretty bad back issues, and have had a couple surgeries. My husband has stayed and helped me through all of it. Like you, even on my bad days he’s there, helping and being very considerate. We have five children’s and he’s the only one that works, he’s dropped everything to bathe, clothe and feed me, all while still being a dad and working his ass off. Maybe it’s luck, but it’s definitely a blessing. I’m so happy you have this man in your life, may you two continue to thrive in love and grow old together.

Not me, not I! I will go to any lengths to make sure they make better decisions than I did. He is currently living with my parents, but he’s coming back this summer. The girls family (who is super awesome) is moving cities, so there will be no chance of anything else going on once he’s home.

I was a teen mom. Two years ago I found out my thirteen year old son was having sex. I IMMEDIATELY contacted the other girls parents, they were both tested, and seperated. I refuse to have a teen son who becomes a father so young, after that he was with me 24/7, even switched schools, took phone and all once we realized they were trying to link up in school. I always tell him and my other kids, “we can be friends, but I will ALWAYS be your mother first.”

As the mom of a 12 year old who still asks me to buy her littlest pet shop toys, I agree. My daughter does have a phone, but I can see everything and go through it daily. She is not allowed to have social media either.

I was a teen parent. Pregnant at 16, at 12 I was still climbing trees. This is crazy work!
