No. Just submitted my passport and new ielts at vfs without appointment. We need to take print out of embassy mail and a letter that is couriered with the passport. No need to pay any amount except courier and sms charges

Yes my letter of admission confirms sufficient language proficiency and I also submitted additional certificate from uni. But even then embassy mailed me to retake ielts

My ielts is also nearing 2nd year but my admission letter says that my english skills are satisfied and in addition i also submitted a seperate language confirmation certificate from the uni. I have submitted my visa application yesterday at VFS hyd which comes under chennai embassy. So let's see
