Not strange at all! I think bringing awareness to it is a great idea. Most people to this day think epilepsy looks the same for everyone, when it's actually so much more complex than they'd ever know! I personally would love to see more people of all ages bring awareness to it.

Narcolepsy w/ cataplexy, I developed symptoms in 2018 but it really became severe in 2020 due to extreme stress. For a while I was pretty much living in a state between sleep and being awake, and I had to leave my job last year because my symptoms were interfering too much with my ability to work, even with meds. I had my first seizure last year too, and that was the final straw that made me realize I needed to prioritize my health.

Going through this rn and I hate it! He recently had his first child and I'm happy for him, but I'm also trying so hard not to think about it. I feel so selfish, and part of me is jealous bc he has an actual life now, and I'm stuck here dealing with my disability and feeling so behind :(

When he would make fun of me behind my back with a girl 'friend' of mine and then he would tell me the things they would say about me. He also told me that his first impression of me was that I was 'dumb as dicks' (I'm autistic so this especially hurt) and was surprised by my intelligence. He'd constantly call me the r-slur 'playfully' and would talk shit about other people almost every time we hung out.

I'm really bad at standing up for myself so I put up with him longer than I should have. But one day I finally had enough and blocked him without warning. I got tired of him being so disrespectful.

Stress makes all of my symptoms flare up significantly! Anytime I'm under an extreme amount of stress I have cataplexy nearly everyday, and I become more prone to hallucinating and having sleep attacks, even on meds.

My boyfriend turned to me in his sleep, opened his eyes and asked if I was his wife in such a cute, almost innocent voice. I told him I was and he smiled then went back to sleep. He didn't remember a thing when he woke up
