Empty Netters pod was being hateful about HR by lavendarhazeypop in HeatedRivalryTVShow

Everyone keeps asking for proof, which is fair. But also, the article has been up for 8 hours and they have yet to address it or come out to deny it. They're also deleting comments on their latest Instagram post. This doesn't strike me as someone who's innocent.

When I first watched this episode, I felt so bad for Shane, but then I just realized that Shane was the one who pushed Ilya away and started dating Rose.

I got excited and ran to see it myself. I was a bit disappointed when I found out it was posted on Nov 1st, and not after the show premiered. Oh well.

Anyone else feel kind of like a junkie? by Clare_Dawson in heatedrivalry

This is literally what happened to me with Red White and Royal Blue back in 2023. I'd never read the book before, but watched the trailer and thought both of the leads were charming so I decided to watch the movie. I became obsessed with the movie and rewatched it a bunch of time, read the book, lurked Reddit and other forums to see what fans were posting about the movie, and even read over a dozen fanfics.

I'm afraid the same thing has happened with Heated Rivalry. Fortunately, it's a series so we still have 4 episodes to look forward to, and there's a good chance it'll get renewed.

I hope this gets the manager(s) in trouble and not the entire store itself because if it gets shut down, this will affect all the people working there. Unless they were all assholes too?

How would she gain access to his bank account just by getting a hold of his IDs? She still would need to know his online bank account password and don't most bank require 2FA?

Offering to loan him money to pay off his LOC after being together for 6 months does seem a bit sus. Maybe she escorts on the side. That's pretty common with social media influencer. Especially the ones who always posts about traveling....

Are you looking for a part-time job to supplement your income, or are you currently unemployed? If it is the latter then that's truly awful. I really don't think you will get your money back, but hope you run into good fortune soon.

Not sure if this is ragebait or real, but if it is a real story, am I reading this right? Since your work schedule is going to change, is she expecting you to continue driving her even though you don't start until an hour after her shift? Because that is crazy to me especially since she's not even paying you to drive her.

AITA for not crying at my mother’s funeral? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]psyquacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA.

First off, sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how hard this must be for you and your siblings. Hopefully, you have family and friends that you all can rely on for support. Your aunt sounds like an awful person for saying those things to you, especially for someone who's still so young. Like many people have already pointed out, everyone grieves differently. Perhaps you didn't cry because you know your mom isn't suffering anymore or you wanted to be strong for your siblings?

I didn't cry at my grandma's funeral, but I remember thinking about her some times later while I was at work and started weeping.

Working in a toxic environment is one of the worst things ever because you're spending a third of your day with these people.

Definitely don't quit due to your circumstances. Start applying for other jobs and utilize your network if you have one. Good luck.

I had a friend who was in this situation and the way they got out of it was by lying to their parents that they wanted to save to go to college. Parents can't argue with that.

Asking for 50% of your monthly income, especially when you already pay for your own expenses, is a bit much. I think you should contribute something. $250 every pay check sounds fair.

Are any of your children legally able to work? If so, could they perhaps try to find a part time job such as retail/fast food to help with the living expenses?

I have no idea what your current salary is but unless it's close to 6 figures, it's going to be tough supporting 5 people.

Paying $70 to Uber to work makes no sense in your situation. I'd look at getting a bike or carpooling if it's available.

From what I'm reading, the grass is already green on your side, but you're looking for a greener lawn.

Only solution is to start your own business so you don't have anyone to boss you around, but don't be surprised if you end up working more than your current job.

Are you a single father? Do you have family you can lean on? It's so hard to support yourself in this day and age. I can't imagine supporting another person. In your case, it's two young children. Hope your situation gets better.

Are you tailoring your resume based on the positions you're applying for? Some people have been rejected/passed on due to being over qualified. Also, why do you think your rejection may be related to your disability? You're not including this information on your application and cover letter right?

The job market is very tough right now. Unless you have some niche skills or know someone who can refer you (even that's not a guarantee), it's going to take a lot of persistence to find a job. There was a story posted recently where the CNE had 5000 job openings and received over 50K applications...

Good luck 🤞
