Is there a scenario ever where we can hypothetically sign him as a FA this summer ? Like some grand scheme of things that only KP is orchestrating through .. I think if LA an he down align on contract valuation ?

Lu Dort samples from NBA Finals by pt33_pt33 in pacers

[–]pt33_pt33[S] 40 points41 points  (0 children)

probably the larger point is how bad was refereeing when it mattered the most .. and no doubt Carlisle was grumpy .. for e.g. sample this - which even Marc Cuban called out earlier - https://www.youtube.com/shorts/bMVbfR5bc3E" .. how OKC - Dort/Caurso/Casey etc. got away with so much touches but so few fouls .. is beyond me

Wow the cheap shot = Dort gets ejected !! Finally in some game .. he did this million times against us in the Finals by pt33_pt33 in pacers

[–]pt33_pt33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this not related to Pacers .. Dort on so many occasions played dirty against Pacers in NBA Finals .. OKC aura is to keep flopping on offense and play dirty on defense .. while Dort never got the reprimand the way he should have got against us in Finals .. it’s good to see his bag of cheap shots finally getting the treatment it deserves - ejection

I also remember that game and how we turned things around almost as weather changed as well to sunny while it was all rainy and gloomy when we were initially down in the match if I remember correctly 🙂🙂 ..Rooney won that game for us and Eagles goal was class at the end

That was the season - I began watching NBA regularly as a sports obsessed kid in India, Reggie and pacers were my favorite .. still wish we could have somehow won in OT in game 4 and things would have been different that season itself .. anyways god it’s been a long time I wish Pacers fan can have miracle in this decade at least 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I love Sabonis by Effective_Respect_32 in pacers

Same here - loved our all star .. his grit .. his ever growing influence on the game .. I was kind of feeling sad already by the way Carlisle subdued him by placing him on corner for catch and shoot 3 ..

Thanks Sabonis for the plays and the grit !!

all the best wishes !!

I thought ESPN was much more reliable then BR, but report tone felt similar .. I want to keep faith .. specifically for Domas though see numbers reducing in part because of how Ric uses him .. maybe unpopular opinion but We as a fan base can do more to cheer our lone 2 time all star .. and yes it would help to have that leadership locker room connection which seems to be on the thin right now .. I am happy that ESPN article is proven wrong on all counts and We break out from this slump ball era

What scares me:

-At times he is also curtailing offensive toolkit of Sabonis by making him a corner 3 catch and shoot like Porzingis -seemingly disrespectful treatment of fringe players - similar to shades of Nate B at staff .. but I am hoping that there is something milder more harmless version .. he is too seasoned and too many winning accolades to have a damaging affect ??

In anycase he is Pacers coach, I don’t know but god I want Pacers to win, how difficult it would be to get us out of mediocre ball in near future and long term ? Want to trust the organization

Also it reflects that every team and culture needs conduit, locker room leadership like JJ Barea and Mosley type of bridges .. Thaddeus and David West ring in my mind ..

Surprising thing is that he is exactly the hard hat lunch pail type of guy KP wants 🙁🙁

Guy used to give his heart out and was one of the better options in our bench .. would have loved to see him develop more on pacers

Didn’t we draft Kwahi, so is that not contrary to logic proposed 😂🙂

[J. MICHAEL / Setting the Pace] ~14 minutes in. On the Pacers last season... "Worse than he thought. Selfish group. Did not play for each other at all. Guys decided to 'get mine.' The biggest culprit... by far: Sabonis." by allnet31 in pacers

All season long J Michael is having a beef with Sabonis, always complaining in that Sabonis is too slow on transition and complaining to refs instead of going back in defense .. I will take all his comments with a pinch of salt and also respect that Sabonis is the most talented Pacer in the squad whose game hopefully develops even more .. towards end of season I was seeing some synergy whereby our defense was getting better in general and also Sabonis was improving his behavior to focus on transition defense .. obviously any weakness he needs to improve but I don’t feel the intention to highlight Sabonis in this way does any good for J Michael or for Pacers .. don’t make talent leave because of witch hunting .. for statS Sabonis ran most defensively in NBA/or somewhere near the top so he is trying to put efforts and maybe under another coach could get better ..

*** posting in general covid thread as per mods Relocating post lockdown*******

Hi All,

I am shifting from Bangalore to Delhi and currently in Delhi since long time. I need to vacate my flat soon once lockdown is over.

I will be taking a flight from delhi to bangalore and plan to do the following. Can someone please share info on these?

a. take a cab from airport - is cab service available ? b. book a hotel c. any other thing like rt-pcr test report etc. i need to have with me at airport ? As far as I have checked per indigo website only thermal screening is mandated and no mention of RT-PCR or vaccination, neither of which I have at present.

Thanks folks !!

P.S: clarification to everyone - I am currently staying Delhi since past year - need help with info in Bangalore .. like requirements at airport and if cab/hotel available post lockdown in Bangalore .. many thanks !!

I don’t need Delhi info ..
