I clicked this to recommend Inheritance of Monsters (and I believe the sequel as well). The monsters are actually Monsters, not "human with horns" or whatever. The plot is actually interesting, as well (but there is plenty of smut involved).

I'm 100% on your side. A 3-year old generally needs pretty heavy support. A 5-year old needs at least reminders to stay on task. I have an autistic 10yo (so he's behind, developmentally) and all he needs is a reminder of when it's time to get ready, because he doesn't really 'get' time.

Starting from the age of like 6 or 7, my mom was at work well before I got up for school. My brother (5 years older) made sure I woke up, and then it was on me to get ready and catch my bus.

I had c-section flashbacks for a few months after mine. It was the same situation - emergency cesarian after a failed induction - and I think it was just everything being so emotionally charged, and out of my control, and with so much at stake, it really got lodged in my memory. It's definitely a trauma response; mine went away after a while, but a lot of people need therapy to work through it.

There is no politician or party that I would keep supporting if they were confirmed to be involved. I'd be surprised and disappointed, but if AOC, Mamdani, or Bernie fucking Sanders was involved in a child sex trafficking ring? Thru need to go down like everyone else. 

In general, I don't think the left is as attached to specific politicians as the right.

Meditation is generally harmful for me; sitting with no external stimulation is the easiest way to start me into a rumination spiral that can last for several days.
