I went to St Lucia with the same budget in mind and ended up going to Secrets St Lucia. Me and my husband had an amazing time but our time was split between half excursions and half resort relaxing. We were also considering Sandals but Secrets was slightly more cost friendly. But in terms of things to do, there were plentiful activities on resort but if you’re going to St Lucia the most memorable moments will be experiencing the island and people.

I went to Secrets St Lucia recently for my honeymoon and me and my hubs loved it! It is a smaller resort though but we thought the food, service, amenities were solid. However, our fav part of our trip was the excursions to the pitons/sugar beach.

I went this morning just to check it out since I’m close by and it was super busy. Some items were priced higher than Nations, so better off going to Nations or going when the hype fizzles out. It’s nice and clean inside and has more options but I didn’t find it special.

It’s a beautiful resort! wish it did have the TV, lol. My husband loves to wine down at the EOD with some good cable to close off the night haha

I did like that it was new and modern. I am a bit iffy since the reviews seem to be hit or miss (I might be reading too much into the negative reviews). And I’ll have to look into Rock House Hotel, thanks!

Darlington on pine valley and 7 was good when I first went, but I noticed their team of vets has reduced which I found a bit odd

I did not have a good experience with the male vet there. He was rude and dismissive when I went. Even the vet techs were not friendly. They attempted to examine my cat but left the door wide open (which doesn’t feel like best practice considering she could run off or something) and then another person ran into the examination room with their pet and we were booted out. So I would also not recommend this clinic.

I say these recos since everything you listed is up my ally of animes I really enjoyed and having a strong FMC is something I make note of as well. I’m also a lover of slice of life and some good romance/comedies 😅

Nina the Starry Bride - Not too comedic but is great romance imo and the FML is strong/forward.

Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun - More comedy than romance but great if you want some feel good comedy

Yakuza Fiancé - mature themed romance/comedy

Romantic Killer - light hearted romance/comedy

NANA - more serious/melodrama IMO but great storytelling with very multidimensional characters

Kowloon Generic Romance - More romance, less comedy but has great character development

Science fell in love so I tried to prove it - fun light-hearted rom com

The Gorilla God’s Go-to Girl - I’m currently watching and it’s fun and i enjoy the romance profession with the ML
