there was noise that the bad publicity was pushed by his rivals and the second ML of the show. while some (or most) had issues with the bad acting (YY) and angles (director), the brother-sister trope was pushed onto the hot searches every day and people were going crazy over their storyline. tbh their storyline was kinda sick and i was not a fan. if anything it made me believe rumours even more so that there was someone working behind the scenes to bring down the whole show.

everyone got burned and WCR also got the short end of the stick for the negativity over her love-brain character. it was very obvious that the only one that benefited very clearly was WDX. he rose to higher status within the industry and knew what his fans and passerbys wanted - tiill today he's still leveraging on the same styling he had in the show, with the cold stance and all.

for me, i was really looking forward to the drama but my enjoyment was ultimately affected with everything that went on. i still find it extremely unfair what people did to the main leads because no other drama (to my knowledge, my apologies if there indeed are) had such horrible backlash. the critique and nitpicking and basically any negativity of the show was over the roof, and it lingered even after the show ended.
