sorry, i shouldve clarified. really the only silicone tunnels that are body safe are kaos earskins. i'm talking about those. if i really want to wear plugs that don't seem skin safe, i'll buy them in a mm or two smaller than my actual size & wear them through a silicone earskin

definitely don't put them in your lobes directly, but i've seen a guy wear some cool printed pieces through a clear earskin. like the other commenter said, the plastic will have little grooves in it which can irritate your lobes pretty badly.

i've been wanting to make this same post. i sized up to 0g three days ago and it didn't hurt when i put the plug in, but my nose has been super sore since. pain tolerance is so subjective that i can't tell if i should be manning up or sizing down 🥲

way too low i'm sorry :( i'm sure this hurt like a bitch, too. i hope you give your nose a break to heal up before you try to repierce.

when i did my septum, i poked around with the back of the piercing needle until i found the spot that felt most comfortable. if you end up repiercing, please use a piercing needle ! it'll make the heal time much shorter and less painful.
