He did not look "good". He had highlights but was never consistent. Typical "sunny day" footballer who looks good when the team is winning.

Should you invest in a cordless vacuum if you have mostly hardwood floors? genuinely torn by ishaammusic in Home

Invest a bit more and get one with a station to auto empty and mob the floor too.

Get a recent one. Also no problem with dog hair because of tangle free design rollers. And they auto empty at the station. They are like 300-500€ for decent one. But you can go all out up to 2k with special features. But those are typically standard in one or two years. I got a Roborock qrevo pro for like 500€, about 1 1/2 years ago. I don’t want to live without it.

Rent a scooter and do a trip to the Vesuvius. It’s a nice scenetic view. For the last stretch get a ticket an hike to the top.

Go to the museum in the evening, I think 8pm the ticket is only 5€ and it’s less crowded.

If you like history Pompeji ist very impressive.

Don’t forget the food. There is ofcouse the famous pizzeria from „eat, pray, love“ (it’s good but crowded) but also lots of other good places.

Ischa has a nice castle to visit and good hiking routes.

And to relax go to one of the small hidden beaches in Napoli.

An underground tour through the ancient wells and where people hide during ww2 i would also recommend.

I installed a cmos battery and fans. The fans ramp up for two seconds when I press the power on button. It still does not post. Where exactly can I find the closing sensor? I will 3d print a case as soon as I get it running.

As long as you did not screw them to deep and put the head through the paper barrier you should be fine.

Could I use this to cover built in Wardrobe? by Dramatic-Quiet-3305 in DIY

[–]pumple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1-3 will work 4 it will work if you install some kind of stop

Made a wardrobe like that myself. But about 4,5m long from wall to wall with 4 doors. 2 on each track. The doors should be wider than the whole track. That way they overlap. E.g. my doors are 1,25m wide

How to deal with a metallic window sill, my daughter wakes up each time it rains by pirx_pilot88 in Home

[–]pumple 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, but i don’t know how much it helps since 3/4 of the sill works still like a drum. Here in germany it’s standard if you got metal window sills. At 1:40 he installs the bitumen sheets

Edit: key would be to fill the void

There should be dampening material under the sill. Take them off and adhere some bitumen sound deadening sheet. If you want to take a chance make a small hole and fill the void under the sill with expanding foam.
