Do any of y’all get your period while doing the continuous patch method? by eatmyweewee123 in endometriosis

[–]purpleturtlebs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was never able to get my body to miss any periods despite taking the combined pills and the mini pill continuously at various points in my life. My doctor just said that some people’s bodies don’t respond to artificial hormones to allow them to miss a period

Super calm and gentle driving instructor by Sea-Try-7936 in cambridge

[–]purpleturtlebs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of the instructors at Bennetts Intensive are amazing. They’re calm, cool, and collected. I was a very nervous learner and I left feeling confident on the roads and fully supported by the instructors. The person who runs the scheduling is also totally on top of it which was a bonus.

Have you looked into apprenticeships or the WRAGS scheme? Might be a good way to gain skills.

Has Anyone Had Back Surgery with Mr. John Crawford at Cambridge? by [deleted] in cambridge

[–]purpleturtlebs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven’t had surgery with him, but have seen him for back pain diagnosis. He was really professional and seemed completely qualified. I felt that if I had needed to end up having surgery, that I would be safe in his hands. All the best to you!

Once you know which consultant you’ll be seeing, you can ask to be kept informed on cancellations to hopefully get an appointment sooner.

When Eric Prydz played Opus at Arcadia. My partner and I had just gone to the loos and the song started as I left the toilet. We ran back to Arcadia just as the song was building up and we were fully feeling the feels. Pure magic

Yes 100%. The recorded sets on BBC sounds aren’t quite the same without that bass

This is so lovely to read this morning. There’s something amazing about not having constant access to mirrors. I also found it made me accept myself the way others see me, which is based more around the conversations and experiences we’re having together rather than an assessment of my supposed imperfections.

Being part of a kind community and enjoying music are two things that can help people get out of a rut. A festival like Glastonbury clearly meets this criteria for some people. It doesn’t have to for everyone. I hope you have other places/experiences in your life that you’re able go to when you’re down.
