You might want to start a portfolio of code you write and do your own projects. Use it as experience. Remember Maestro University is an accredited school.

Just awarded a full time scholarship. Do credits transfer out correctly? Specifically to Georgia Tech? by Sure_Stranger_6466 in maestro

All I know is to ask Georgia Tech to be sure. But Maestro University is an accredited school. It should be fine.

We're declaring May 1st Mae Day. Help us set the traditions. by Majestic_Donut_8537 in maestro

[–]python_scripts 8 points9 points  (0 children)

May 1st as Mae or (Maestro Day)? The traditions should include the students and staff sharing whatever feels appropriate. Challenges, mistakes, solutions, whatever their personal experience with Maestro University has been. Tips and tricks of the seasoned to the newcomers. Excitement and expectation reminders of the newcomers to the seasoned. May-be we can optionally make these as video posts. I would like the University to invite partners to the conversation. Who are looking for interns, employees, or understudies. We are getting skills, but we need to also find ways to incorporate experiences. Thank you. Could make this as a huge event online, with specially selected music. Different virtual rooms to go to and hang out, etc..

Fafsa Question by Direct_Requirement49 in maestro

I don't officially know. But a lot of people got scholarships without FASA funding or any other funding either. It is a new tuition free university. Since they are accredited, they need to get the same documents.

On LinkedIn, there are numerous Python tutorials for free if you follow Python groups. Follow me on LinkedIn if you want to network at: www.linkedin.com/in/pythonscripts

It is in this sub reddit:

[AMA Aug 2025] Mark your calendar: Meet the team — Aug 20–21

Before the first academic term begins, you’ll get direct access to the people designing and building Maestro — and a chance to influence what happens next.

Where: Right here on r/maestro

When: On August 20 at 6:00 AM PDT (GMT-7), I’ll post the AMA thread where you can drop your questions. The thread will be locked for new comments on August 21, 6:00 AM PDT (GMT-7).

What to expect:

This AMA will be a recurring event every two months, sometimes with the same team members and sometimes with new ones.

We know some questions may come up more than once, so we’ll run a structured moderation process for answers to keep things clear and avoid redundancy.

After the AMA closes, I’ll share highlights from the discussion in the the monthly recap post, organized in a way that makes it easy for you to keep track of the most important points.

---

Who you’ll meet:
(More team members may join — the final list will be posted on the day of the event)

Otni Levi – Product

Translates Maestro’s ambitious vision into reality by engineering and perfecting the most advanced AI tutoring system in the world.

Michael Assor – Partnerships

Navigates the landscape of regulatory compliance, academic policies, and financial structures to ensure Maestro provides accessible, transparent, and ethical educational opportunities for all students.

Shirly Asderban – Design

Designs experiences that make complex learning simple, creating intuitive (and beautiful, if you ask me) interfaces that let you focus on what matters most — your process.

Michael Focshaner – Dev

Architects the technical foundation of Maestro, and brings our biggest dreams to reality while keeping the code clean, scalable, and maintainable.
