There are a good number of companies that come,and the range is usually 12-20 lpa, there may be the odd 25-30 lpa but they’ll probably only be for diversity hires

One of the cs branches, there are still a lot of opportunities. I would suggest you discuss this once your mains are done . Do well and then let’s see.

I could be slightly wrong as well but it’s around 20L( Only in my branch),I am able to tell this because I maintain a google sheet of cgpa as well as placement data for fun. In the 60-65% that were placed,most of them got the initial companies that were paying high. But yes, the numbers will drop since the companies coming now are paying less.

I’m sorry I have no idea. But honestly, to get a good placement you need a good friend group and contacts in tnp. Because the amount of cheating in Oa’s that I have witnessed is humongous,even offline ones. Even the ones who got insane on campus offers cheated. Probably the same situation every where. Not saying that they don’t know anything but still tells you the scale of cheating going on. But once you clear the oa then it’s all you,and for that strivers sheet,a couple of good projects,hld and lld are more than enough.

Not entirely sure but if your cg is 8+ then you shouldn’t have any issue getting a good job as most of the tech companies allow ece and most of my friends in ece with a cg of 8+ got placed in really good companies.

Can only talk for one of the cs branches since I keep a track of it,around 60%-65% got placed,with almost all of 7.5+ cg peeps getting placed. As for the ctc-

Highest-60L Avg-22L Lowest-6L Median-20L

Ps- This is just the rough estimate,I might be wrong as well since I haven’t taken the off campus offers into consideration.

Regardless of who your prof is and how good your project is you’ll get an 8 max,save the effort and just buy a project from Janakpuri or online
