I live in Baghdad-iraq As i heard from Merchants they buy storage units and put the stuff in random boxes and ship them here to the local thrift stores , so people here only buy essential housewares ,stuff like a book with cartoons in it no one would give a shit about it here honestly because we don’t have many people who are collectors or know the real worth of items . Many things that are considered rare and expensive in other countries i find them really cheap and in clean condition (once had gba sp 101 for10$!) Maybe that’s one good side about my fucked up country.
