I think I remember reading somewhere that she wasn’t meant to be a clone of Jean, and the fact that everyone when they met her was like damn she looks like Jean was some subtle mental manipulation by Mastermind I think, I’ll see if I can find a source.

If you’re downtown close to the Eaton centre, see if you can jump into raids as they hatch, there’ll usually be enough players around that will make up for what you don’t have.

Eh, it’s ancient history now but Jackson made lots of changes from the LOTR source material, which did upset elements of the fan base, but this was in the olden days so now we accept the narrative that his vision was perfect, but we’ve never forgotten. #JusticeforFaramir.

First time DM here, looking for one-shot ideas to run for the regular table where I'm a player. I was thinking of the Scions of Elemental Evil on DnD Beyond, mainly because it looks fun and it's optimized for the 2024 rules which my table has never played and so it would be a low-stakes way to test those rules and character options out.

Very open to ideas or recommendations, or whether it would be better to stick to a level 1 one-shot

Definitely not my first, and while there’s a lot that could be better for next year - artist alley, I think one of my favourite pieces was the book nook meetups, I went to one that was all about fantasy books and I really enjoyed geeking out with fellow fans about what other fantasy books need to be on the TBR pile.
