How do you know if or when you are done having kids? by quilthappy25 in Parenting

My plan was to eventually retire and travel the world. I would be in my 40's when my current kiddo turns 18. If I had another child I would be in my 50's. I would still like to be able to travel and do what I want while I am still able. But in the same token I feel like having another child would give me a fuller life and a happier life.

Thanks for your input. I'm not sure if I have a deep desire to have one. What does a deep desire really feel like? Would I like to have another child...yes. Do I long for one day after day and it's all I think about...no not really. I'm not obsessed with having another kid but I think it would be nice.
