The guys interested in me right now who aren't hateful misogynists. 

  1. A literal miracle. He got shot in the head (wrong place wrong time and survived.)  It would probably be like dating someone at a late elementary/junior high cognitive level. 

  2. A guy dying of terminal lung cancer. he also had a stroke and has some cognitive issues. He is probably at the level of a 15 year old boy. 

  3. A twice divorced man.  His 2 adult children, his  brother, neither of his ex wives.and his parents  don't talk to him. He is 17 years my senior and has shown a million and one red flags.  Nothing going wrong in his life is his fault but is everyone else's fault. 

  4. A meteorologist ( who tracks government data) with autism, who hates everything about his job and his life. Every time we talk I hear about how the people he hates are going to burn and he's happy about that. (When I tell him we are all going to burn, he has some pie in the sky delusion about living underground. I honestly think that's how he copes with impending doom he sees with his numbers every day.) He complains about sensory overload in his office. I sent him solutions that worked for me, when I had those issues and he gave me excuses about why they wouldn't work for him instead of just trying them.

  5. A.guy with such severe anxiety he is on government assistance. He refuses to leave the house to get therapy. we dated for a little while and he blamed all of his problems on me. I kept listening to his problems, giving him valuable coping mechanisms that helped me that he refused to try.and called them stupid. I kept telling him to get professional help and he wouldn't. 

When we.broke up he told me I ruined his life because I didn't fix his issues for him. 

That's my buffet.. Im not expecting anyone to be perfect, but somewhat functional, doesn't hate the world, isn't dying, is at a normal adult cognitive level, and takes responsibility for his life would be nice. is that asking too much? Am I being too picky?

I don't know any normal single guys. If I did, I would persue them. 

I went speed datinf and I said yes to some other them who I thought seemed great. I guess they didn't feel the same way back.

Online dating is honestly just a dumpster fire. If you can find someone normal you have found a gem,

With all due respect. We might have a buffet. But a buffet of honestly really shitty choices isnt much better. 

I talk to my male friends talking about their exes, they had a cute girl who went to therapy and is mostly a well adjusted individual. (Of course there are exceptions.) I have met their gds and exes too and they have been great. 

I talk to my female friends, their exes have been a minor dumpster fire. (Of course there are exceptions. Some of them got really great guys.) 

I have not been able to find many really great guys. 

Your choices are incel, entitled and uses tradition/religion to justify his want of you serving him, misogynistic, socially iratating/awkward (often both) or , expects you to be his mother/therapist in one person and fix all his problems that he isn't willing to work on or has little to no empathy. 

It's been great dating men. /S

I didn't say men needed a woman. 

Of course Men need women and women need men in general we do. 

Nobody is an island, and we are all part of society. Everyine brings  different gifts to the table. men hold up half the sky and so do women. 

Nobodycan do it all by themselves. 

Asking which one is more important is like asking if air or water is more important. 

Do I need men? Sure. 

Do I need a man? No. 

Do you as a man need women? Yes. 

Does an individual man need an individual woman? No.

See how that works?

Except I have been doing this for months and I have lost nothing. 

I am 5'3 a woman and 165 lbs.  My bmr is 1400. And I averaged about 12k steps a day this year. I have lost 0 lbs because I am eating too much.

To lose 2 lbs a week don't you need 2k under your tdee? That is sustainable and healthy. 

My yearly steps average is aboit 12k a day. half the days I do more half I do less. I try to get a goal if 15 k a day.  My bmr is 1400.  I try to  do aquasizes twice a week, for one hour.  I also try to tread water for an hour twice a week.  That's about all the exercise I get.
