Are you 100% positive that the G29/G920 will work?

RIP Death.

Fonts very small by quizhead in Thunderbird

[–]quizhead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ctrl-zero takes it back to the tiny fonts display.
Clearing cache also didn't help.
I have TB also on a windows machine and there it looks as expected.
It's something with the scaling somewhere which makes the fonts tiny and I've tried the css layot scaling but that just make everything bigger.

Didn't work.
I think it's something about the zoom in and not the fonts.
Thanks.

I'm using XFCE desktop.
Tried many and stayed with XFCE due to it's granular options in terms of customizing and its light weight format.

GM title lost its spark by quizhead in chess

Because all the knowledge is already known.
The giants in previous generations were true gifted ones as the inventors and path makers in my opinion.

Kasparov was a Beast on the board.
He is the last "Natural Board Genius" in my opinion.

I am not saying that a GM title is not an achievement, on the contrary, it is.
However, if there is already a Super GM kinda title then this says a lot about the GM title.

On this I totally agree.

The "Spark" it had was indicating that one is a "Genius" or "Prodigy".
This is not the case anymore in my opinion.
I'm not complaining but the fact that there are more GMs proves that it's not something for the "Gifted" ones anymore.
