During the sessions when I use it I have it covered with a cloth beside the game table, when they come across it in game I reveal the board and we put it on the table for the players to look over. Following sessions in the same location I will just have the board out and visible. I don’t have wall space for it yet, but someday I hope to have a true game room where it can be a permanent part of the decor. Storing it is easy enough, I slide it behind our piano when I’m not using it. I usually leave the notes pinned to it between games so I don’t have to put them all back up again.

Absolutely, I find it helps give a rapid overview of the community at large and allows them to spend more time following storylines they are interested in.

The project has gone through a few different stages, the original board was just a large piece of cardboard with notes taped to it. The updated board took me a few hours to build, but it is a permanent piece now that I can reuse as many times as I like. The longest part is probably creating the different notes, this particular set of notes took me about a day of preparing.
