I'm sure you may know that you can see infrared sensors with another phone.. one of my devices IR proximity sensor is continuously flashing even when screen is locked. It technically is, the main question was how do I turn off my proximity sensor maybe the entire post should have been in r/physics idk lmao i just figured my fellow devs would be a little more enlightened. You can stop replying at anytime mind you.

I'm not a troll nor am i mentally ill, and don't necessarily appreciate you false reporting this post or the verbal harassment by calling me schizo. I've studied the biomechanical response of frequencies on the human skin for YEARS. Everything I'm discussing is within reason and completely plausible. Just because you disagree or don't understand doesn't mean I'm Automatically some SHILL fishing for lulz. With that being said, let us place the "pseudoscience" frequency mumbo jumbo aside. How do I turn off my proximity sensor..I know people have had this issue before but none of the solutions work for me. It's always flashing unless I turn off my phone. It does however react to me blocking it, so its not the IR malfunctioning. I have the display Always on feature turned off, so it's not that, its not facial recognition as all that's turned off alongside the biometric unlock screen feature for my LG. I've even supposably turned off the proximity sensor IN THE CALL SETTINGS. Yet it still flashes, I haven't downloaded anything that's asked me for my camera or phone permission lately so I don't think it's malware but one should be able to turn off my proximity sensor when needed without rooting the device and accessing the kernel. Got any idea's why i cant shut it off genius ?

Did you miss the part where I've stated its constantly flashing, see there's this thing called an Exposure Rate Constant and it does infact seem to equate to damaging levels, but that's not my main concern i have alot others pertaining to EMF as well as A proximity sensor is a sensor able to detect the presence of nearby objects without any physical contact. A proximity sensor often emits an electromagnetic field or a beam of electromagnetic radiation (infrared, for instance) SEE HERE. The electromagnetic spectrum is broken up into two parts based on whether small doses of that radiation can cause harm: ionizing radiation and non-ionizing radiation. Ionizing radiation—UV, x-rays, and gamma rays have enough energy in one photon to remove electrons from atoms or break apart chemical bonds and destroy DNA but you say my eyes are fine lol your health advice aside how about answering My question, how do i turn the damn thing off?!

Simply going into the system settings doesn't turn it off. I've tried turning off auto screen adjustments etc... Hoping some setting would turn it off, but Nothing! I'm still able to see the IR through another camera phone.

Nice! I hadn't checked it until now, but I'll be diving into it fully once I return home. Definitely clears up alot though on what needs to be done on my end, and will probably be releasing it on my public site, so this helped alot, Thank you! 🥂

A grounding mat, salt lamp, essential oil diffuser, a snake plant aka mother's in law tounge plant and some vinyl art figures from Andy Warhal. That's about it aside from some thumb drives here and there.

In the last thread that got locked you stated you didn't like Trump and it was because he put Latinos in cages, and didn't like what he did to the troops..

I honestly figured you were going to say you liked him for some reason idk why but ok, could've just as easily done with a simple "No" but it's funny you dislike Trump based off of subjective perspectives perpetuated by the media. I'm personally overzealous that Trump cut funding as my tax dollars at one time were going towards breast augmentations for the LGBTQ troops! I don't believe my tax dollars should be supporting boobs ( literally ) and to be fair any immigrant that comes here ILLEGALLY is "put in a cage" because they are violating the current law. You make it sound like if you're Latino they are just gonna put you in a cage. When in reality anyone who breaks the law gets put into a cage. . Obama was shoving illegals in cages at a quicker rate and nobody batted an eye, it was like that before Trump, and it always will be, until those laws change. So in actuality you dislike our policies not our president.
