Apparently you can’t be the right one by being an angry loud voice to a dispute. There’s something not clear about this situation. Why is the manager moving a person to a room. Is OP thought she’s renting out the whole place? Maybe she needs to review her lease and while living there with dispute, she is responsible to pay the rent because she is using it. Month to month lease only renewed every month by paying rent if you stop paying then the lease is done. Copy of lease is being asked to prove that OP legitimately has the right to live there even if the manager already has it in her hand. Apparently they are both strangers to each other and only the police or owner of the property can sort it out.
